Here at Central Coast Training Center, our staff is the secret to our student success. Each instructor has a rich background in wrestling and is eager to train the next generation of wrestlers. Meet the team below!

Zander Wick - Zander is a seven-time all American, two-time state finalist, two-time team MVP and four-time Pacific League champion. He is a four-time CIF champion and three-time Southern Section champion for San Marino High School. Zander wrestled for the college at University of Wisconsin from 2016-2019.

John Azevedo - John Azevedo is a 6-Time All-American, two-time California state champion, won three NCAA Division II national titles (1978-80), one NCAA Division I title in 1980. U.S. Olympian in 1980. Coached at Arizona State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Bakersfield, Calvary Chapel High School and Cal Poly.

John Azevedo

John Azevedo is a 6-Time All-American, two-time California state champion, won three NCAA Division II national titles (1978-80), one NCAA Division I title in 1980. U.S. Olympian in 1980. Coached at Arizona State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Bakersfield, Calvary Chapel High School and Cal Poly.
Lee Kemp - Lee Kemp America’s first three-time World Champion, winning his first title in 1978 at age 21, establishing him as the youngest American world champion ever, a distinction he held for 30 years. Lee is a four-time World Cup Champion, 7-time United States Freestyle National Champion and was part of the United States 1980 Olympic Freestyle Wrestling Team.  In 1990 he was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum and the fifth American to be inducted into the United World Wrestling Hall of Fame
